Yes, my name is Skeek. No, it's not a typo.

Skeek is in fact my first name. It’s not a nickname (they don’t let you put nicknames on your driver’s license).  I've been making commercials for years and have taken more than 400 TV spots from concept to completion – earning a few dozen awards along the way. I love every part of the job. Casting. Tech scouting. Developing shot lists. Directing talent. Even budgeting. Yes, keeping costs in check is its own bizarre thrill. Maybe because I sucked at math growing up. Ultimately, all of these details matter because all of them show. And of course there's the writing side of things – taming the blank page will always be an adventure.

But the most important thing anyone can learn in this business is that no production is the result of a single person.  It takes a village. Actors. DPs. Gaffers. Riggers. Producers. PAs. Editors. Sound men (and women). Studio Engineers. Music composers. Animators. It's a long list. But production is seldom a small undertaking. Thanks for stopping by. And if you're so inclined, drop me a note to say "Hi". Always nice to connect.
